Our esteemed client, Bantu Recruitment Agency, is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a full-time basis.

As an Mechanical Fitter, your responsibilities will include
- Work in accordance with quality work plans and procedures on scheduled and unplanned maintenance; carry out inspections
- Troubleshoot and test corrective repairs on various fixed and processing plant and mining equipment, which includes but not limited to jaw and cone crushers, vibe feeders, rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, blowers, valves, piping, mechanical seals, and hydraulic systems; ensuring all documentation is completed and backlogs raised for identified faults.
- You should also be experienced and conversant with the technical parameters governing pump maintenance regarding mechanical seal installation, bearing clearances, gaskets, rotors, couplings, alignment, and protection devices; component removing, rebuilding and installing chutes, liners, screens, pulleys, idler, roller frames, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- The ability to work independently will also be highly regarded.
Qualifications
· A completed four years of apprenticeship training and 3-year post-apprenticeship
· Must possess a relevant trade Certificate
· Having the rights to work in Australia is an added advantage

$150,000 per annum plus superannuation
