Perfect Teeth is now looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
Prepare patients, disinfect tools, set up trays, arrange materials, and assist the dentist during procedures;
Take dental x-rays;
Provide postoperative care instructions as directed by the dentist;
Schedule appointments and take booking via phone and email;
Sterilise and maintain clean equipment and tools for surgical use;
Assist patients with their needs by providing outstanding patient care;
Handle instruments, suctioning during procedures, and provide other support as needed.
Assist in procedures like fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals;
Organise patients files and records, including taking charts for new patients;
About you:
At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant;
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and instruments;
Ability to take and process dental X-rays;
Strong knowledge of sterilisation processes;
Providing compassionate and reassuring care to patients, especially those who may be anxious;
Good time management skills;
Understanding and using correct dental terminology in communication and documentation
Job type: Permanent/full-time
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
