About the Role (your why)
The M365 Senior Engineer is responsible for delivering Microsoft 365 enablement and productivity outcomes for our customers including workloads spanning data, files, communications and collaboration, security and identity and access management that ties these together.
This role is based in our office in Melbourne, Vic.
What you’ll do
The M365 Senior Engineer role is responsible for (but not limited to):
- Working with customers to transform their business through cloud first productivity and collaboration solutions for their digital transformation journey.
- Accurate and timely contribution to project reporting.
- Assisting with development of Cloud based solutions.
- Assisting with implementing adaptive life cycle (agile) project delivery methods suitable for Cloud solutions.
- Completing assigned projects activities while unsupervised or under guidance of the Project Manager if assigned.
- Delivering project tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Providing guidance and advice to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies in order to meet schedules and resolve technical problems.
- Takes reasonable care that their actions (or inactions) do not harm the Health and Safety of self or others. Reports all incidents, hazards or unsafe work practices as per Datacom policy.

What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of related technical experience.
- Ability to work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
- Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
- Assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
- Ability to frequently interact and network with a variety of stakeholders and team members within own area of expertise.
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organisational goals.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer relationship building and management skills.
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information across various levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Consultative and planning skills.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Technology or a related discipline.
- One or more Microsoft 365 Certified associate or expert certifications covering messaging, Teams, security or enterprise administration (or equivalent experience).
