Double K Tiling is currently seeking an experienced wall and floor tiler to join our team for various projects across Perth metro areas.
Job tasks and responsibilities
· Reviewing plans, measuring surface areas, and laying out the tiling work
after marking the surfaces.
· Calculations for materials requirements- sheeting, tiles, adhesive, grout etc.
· Prepare the walls and floor surfaces, including removing old tiles, plaster and
flooring, filing cracks and holes. Clean surfaces.
· Application of adhesive onto prepared surfaces, cutting tiles, tiling and grouting.
· Shape and cut tiles with the Tiler cutter tool.
· Ensure that tiles are correctly cut and shaped
· Preparation of floor area and levels
· Ensure tiles are correctly aligned and placed
· Preparation and application of waterproofing as required
· Lay coloured tiles in patterns and mosaics.
· Lay floors with a mixture of compositions such as cement, terrazzo and granolithic
· Grout tiles and remove excess material.
· Checking all finished works and signing off completed works
Skills and experience
Experience required – minimum two (2) years full-time experience in tiling, preferably in the commercial sector.
Must be licensed with own tools and transport.

Salary: $73,150.00 to $75,000.00 /year
