Smart Electric Group Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join their dynamic team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Inspect electrical components, including transformers and circuit breakers, to ensure proper installation and compliance with safety regulations.
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues by using tools such as voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and building specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Install wiring, control, and lighting systems, ensuring adherence to industry safety standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future electrical issues.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and engineers to ensure the timely completion of projects.
Follow all safety protocols and standards, ensuring the highest level of compliance with industry and regulatory safety requirements.
Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work completed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
Minimum AQF Certificate III in Electrical or a relevant field.
2-3 years of experience as an electrician or in a related field.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety regulations, and technical standards.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical codes, and technical diagrams.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform diagnostic tests on electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid electrician's license is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
