We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hairdresser to join our dynamic team at Mynk Hair. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills and creativity in all aspects of hairdressing, providing exceptional services in cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments. This role requires a commitment to delivering luxury hair care experiences and maintaining high standards of client satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform precision haircuts and trims for men, women, and children, ensuring high-quality results tailored to individual client preferences.
Conduct hair consultations to understand clients' needs and recommend appropriate services, products, and treatments.
Expertly apply various colouring techniques, including highlights, tints, and foils, as well as advanced colouring methods such as lightening and balayage.
Provide a range of styling services for special occasions, including formals, weddings, and events.
Offer specialized hair treatments, including perms, straightening, curling, and relaxing, using the latest products and methods.
Create and style hair extensions, braids, and other advanced hair designs.
Maintain salon hygiene and ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and in compliance with health and safety standards.
Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in hairdressing techniques, products, and services.
Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive and luxurious salon experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
Minimum AQF Certificate III in Hairdressing or relevant field
2-3 years of experience as a Hairdresser in a salon or similar environment
Strong knowledge of modern hairdressing techniques, products, and treatments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while delivering exceptional client experiences
