The Role
Reporting to the NSW Operations Manager, your role as a Condition Monitoring Engineer will provide engineering support to our major client in NSW Singleton, delivering engineering services related to Asset Health Monitoring. We are looking for an enthusiastic and “hands-on” individual who will be a key team member, with a mix of office and field-based work.
The day to day
Responsibilities include:
• Provide technical support to our team of condition monitoring technicians servicing our clients across power generation, oil and gas, refinery, health, process and other industries.
• Plan and execute comprehensive field measurement studies, failure analysis, structural analysis, site audits and general engineering consultancy for our clients;
• Diagnose equipment faults by evaluating condition monitoring and other data, and preparing comprehensive technical reports to our clients including recommendations for maintenance action;
• Consult with clients and provide cost estimates for routine and specialist engineering investigations;
Forming part of a skilled and high performing Asset Integrity Engineering team, you will have the support of a progressive and experienced management team and be exposed to a variety of interesting and challenging work environments. The essentials
We are seeking a motivated individual who will ideally possess the following:
• Minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) ;
• Condition Monitoring Qualifications and experience (e.g. CAT II & III VA, thermography, or oil analysis certification) – Mobius accreditation preferred.
• Interest in condition monitoring, materials, failure analysis and structural integrity;
• Analytical strengths, with good problem solving skills and a willingness to get your hands dirty required;
