Frontier Fire Design, a leading fire design company specializing in water-based fire systems, is seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in designing, coordinating, and documenting fire protection systems using Autodesk Revit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design water-based fire protection systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
Use Autodesk Revit to create, document, and coordinate 3D fire protection system designs.
Work closely with project managers and clients to develop fire safety solutions from the concept stage through to final delivery.
Lead design meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.
Assist in preparing As Built drawings and documentation as required.
Stay up-to-date with developments in fire safety regulations, fire protection technologies, and design tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
Minimum AQF Certificate III in Fire Systems Design, Fire Protection, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience as a Fire Protection System Designer or Drafter.
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with experience in transitioning from AutoCAD being advantageous.
Familiarity with fire safety codes and standards, particularly for water-based systems.
Excellent communication and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
