As the Marketing Manager, you will be the marketing program owner of our three key customer jobs to be done.

You will manage our drumbeat communication stream within the customer trade plan as well as lead the strategic program(s) of work that unlock customer behaviour in the three jobs to be done.

You will partner and influence effectively across the matrix to deliver initiatives that drive share of wallet with lighter shoppers and wins the hearts and minds of our existing & future customers to ‘Drink Better’.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Lead the always-on drumbeat communication program for the Dan Murphy’s customer trade plan, partnering with numerous cross functional teams to deliver on the three customer jobs to be done (drive stock up through mid week permissibility, overcome convenience barriers and own all gifting and special occasions) effectively across the customer experience. 
  • With support from Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Brand & Content, develop the strategy, roadmap and necessary business casing to unlock customer behaviour.
  • Programs of work could include but not limited to partnering with EDX, eCommerce and agency partners on customer journey mapping and optimization, partnering with Operations, Format and Merchandise to review macro space changes and trials in store, partnering with Merchandise and key suppliers to rally around a job to be done, review My Dan’s offers with Loyalty team and/or developing 3rd party brand partnerships.
  • Work alongside other Marketing Managers & Leads to ensure collaboration and that our go-to market plans and marketing initiatives deliver against the three customer jobs to be done and brand outcomes. 
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer and occasion, championing and influencing throughout the organisation to deliver on the three customer jobs to be done. 
  • Partner with Analytics, Insights and Merchandise to develop and build a measurement framework for the three customer jobs to be done, monitor performance and provide recommendations. 
  • Where required, manage end to end campaigns which includes working with Creative and Media agencies, Channel Leads and various stakeholders including Merchandise and Operations to deliver brand-led campaigns. 
  • Support Senior Marketing Managers and Planning to identify, diagnose and improve ways of working with Merchandise for the always-on drumbeat program and develop a truly collaborative and efficient relationship, built on trust and accountability. This includes cadence and frameworks to facilitate efficiency, collaboration and a customer-first mindset.
  • Role Model ways of working in a matrix business and actively drive the culture of the marketing team.
