We are looking for a Full Stack Lead Solution Architect with a strong background in solution architecture and expertise in stakeholder management, technical documentation, third-party vendor management, and greenfield solution discovery. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AWS backend services, service-driven UI, and API specifications, and will play a key role in designing and guiding technical solutions that meet our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with senior business leaders, product managers, designers and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
Act as the primary point of contact for facilitating technical discussions and decision-making, ensuring stakeholder expectations are aligned.
Solution Architecture & Discovery:
Lead discovery and design of greenfield solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate technologies, frameworks, and architectures.
Develop high-level solution designs that address business needs, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Drive the adoption of best practices in architecture and development, ensuring alignment with organisational standards and technology strategies.
Technical Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and integration plans.
Ensure documentation is clear, detailed, and accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Review technical documentation as part of governance to ensure compliance with industry standards and organisational policies.
Third-Party Vendor Management:
Facilitate engagement and management of third-party vendors and technology partners.
Oversee vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet project requirements and timelines.
Manage contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and vendor performance to ensure successful project outcomes.
Technology Leadership:
Knowledgeable in designing and implementing solutions using AWS backend services, ensuring optimal use of cloud resources for scalability and reliability.
Provide architectural guidance for the development of Native iOS and Android applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
Up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and able to apply this knowledge to guide technology decisions and innovations.
