About the role
In this position, you will be responsible for delivery of outstanding food to our patrons, along with:
stocking
Presentation and Preparation of meals to a high standard;
preparing food to meet special dietary requirements;
Following strict health and hygiene standards;
Assisting with food and workplace safety and cleaning
Qualifications/Experience required
Certificate III/ IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality or higher qualification/apprenticeship
At least 1 years’ work experience as a chef
Attributes
High standard of customer service, posses strong focus on quality control, attention to detail and presentation
Exposure and experience in restaurant/bistro kitchen environment
Ability to comprehend and follow Food Safety Plan
Must have a positive work attitude, who is passionate, neat, clean and reliable
Proven knowledge of food preparation, cooking, plating and presentation
Ability to work across a range of hours including weekends, evening and public holidays
Able to work a flexible schedule inc days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Creative, and passionate about food and provide high standards of food service
Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure
Able to work independently or closely with small team, able to communicate clearly with both kitchen staff and management
Weekend availability a must
