EXPERIENCED SEAFOOD PROCESS WORKER
Seeking a full time experienced seafood process worker for our hagfish factory in Avalon VIC.
Experience with live & frozen hagfish essential.
Most suitable to strong individuals whom don’t mind working in a cold & wet environment.
Variable hours including night and early morning shifts. Weekend work and public holiday work may be required.
Daily duties include but are not limited to :
· inspecting and grading hagfish and shellfish for mortality, size and quality
· moving hagfish & shellfish between tanks, sorting tables, packing room & freezers
· Netting/Scooping, de-sliming & packing of hagfish
· manually skin hagfish for further processing & freezing of hagfish meat
· Shucking of shellfish
· loading fish boxes into trucks
· Pressure cleaning of fish tanks, trays and fish bins
· Sanitising of equipment and work areas
Salary - $65,835 - $73,150 annually plus superannuation & 4 weeks annual leave.
