CDP Minimum 3 years relevant commercial cookery experience and 1+ years chef supervisory experience
DEMI Role Minimum 2 years + supervisor experience and supervisory experience
COMMIS Minimum 1-2 years commercial cookery experience
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or above is desirable
The role;
CDP Assisting the head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations;
CDP providing supervision of the Kitchen operation
CDP Assisting with menu design and budgeting
DEMI Assisting the CDP/ head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations
DEMI Ordering stock under the direction of the CDP/head Chef;
Preparing and cooking food to a benchmark standard for the restaurant;
Ensuring that the meals are prepared, produced, presented and served to the highest possible standards;
Working in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations;
Checking deliveries as per order sheets;
In collaboration with the head Chef and other kitchen staff contribute to the planning and development of recommendations for improved work procedures;
Handle complaints and customer suggestions in a professional manner;
Upholding and maintain correct standards of hygiene and safety;
Undertake as required, training which may be deemed necessary;
Communicate effectively with the kitchen crew and other members of staff;
Any additional duties associated with the kitchen or food production as directed by the Head Chef or management.
Full-time positions will be provided with an Annualised Salary based upon the Industry Award and determined by your relevant qualifications and experience.
Cook (Commi): $66,000.00 - $68,000.00
Cook (Demi) - $68,000 - $71,500.00
CDP Chef - $72,000 - $74,000
