Based in Salisbury (Brisbane), we are currently looking for reliable full time Demi / Commis Chef.
Working days are Sunday to Thursday with the approx. times below:
Sunday 8.30am - 3.00pm
Monday 8.00am - 4.00pm
Tuesday 8.30am - 5.00pm
Wednesday 8.00am - 4.00pm
Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm
To be considered for this position you must have had experience in a Demi / Commis role or experience in a commercial kitchen.
Applicants must be reasonably fit, as there is a demand of repetitive lifting and standing in an upright position for the full shift.
Essential Attributes:
Previous professional experience in a fast-paced kitchen
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery advantageous
Positive attitude contributing to a positive work environment and be a team player
You can work with autonomy to manage your own time and follow direction while un-supervised
Strong WH&S knowledge and HACCAP Food Handling experience
Strong knowledge of kitchen procedures and operations
Attention to detail and a passion for food quality, presentation and consistency
Punctual, reliable and presentable
Sense of urgency and strong time management skills
