THE OPPORTUNITY
The successful candidate will provide financial insights, technological expertise, and project management for technical procurement services to Citys stakeholders. They will support Technical Procurement Officers, improve procurement processes, and assist with strategic sourcing initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Provide and mentor the Technical Procurement team with expertise and resources.
Regularly review and measure procurement procedures to implement process improvements and tools.
Assist in identifying and delivering commercial and procurement improvements with local and international suppliers.
Collaborate with departments to identify needs, conduct strategic sourcing, and plan market engagement.
Manage capital expenditure and developing replacement strategies considering commercial impacts.
