What you’ll do:
In this role you’ll support the Kitchen team to deliver consistently high quality meals by providing non-cooking duties in a kitchen or food preparation area. On a daily basis you will:
- Undertake general cleaning duties within a kitchen or food preparation area and scullery
- Cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in a kitchen and restaurant
- Assist colleagues who are cooking including assembling and preparing ingredients
What you’ll bring:
- A great attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Genuine Interest in working in a commercial kitchen, preparing fresh produce
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and acquire new skills
- An ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
