Mansfield Power Ag (Stihl Shop Mansfield) was established in 1997 and is a family owned business providing sales, service and parts for all outdoor products and machinery for private, commercial and agricultural customers in the Mansfield local and surrounding area. We are currently seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineering Service Technician to join our busy workshop on a full time basis.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Running and analysing diagnostic tests on a wide range of agricultural machinery/equipment and tractors
- Maintain, test and repair/replace mechanical assemblies on heavy plant/machinery and tractors
- Perform assessments and repairs in the field and workshop
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products such as machinery, equipment and measuring instruments
- Work within timeframes and servicing schedules and maintain records
- Installing equipment and testing operations
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related
- A minimum of three years’ experience
- The ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
