Roster is 38 hours per week, Monday - Friday (7:30am-4:30pm)

To provide the safe and effective operation of a garbage collection vehicle engaged in street cleaning work.
To provide team leadership for shopping centre cleansing unit.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist with drainage maintenance
Perform the shopping centre program collection.
To act as driver of a garbage compactor vehicle (As required).
To assist with the clearance operation involving.
Collection of dumped rubbish
To carry out regular routine maintenance to truck.
Cleaning public toilets & BBQ.
To assist with any task undertaken by the Cleansing Unit and as directed by the Supervisor.

To be considered for this role:

Licence and competencies to:

Medium rigid truck licence essential, Heavy Rigid License desirable.



Experience in setting up safety signage in accordance with the Roadworks Signing Code of Practice
Experience in operating mechanical plant & equipment.
Basic written and oral communication skills.
Ability to commit to rosters with a proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.
