Mercure Perth is looking to recruit a highly skilled and talented Chef de Partie to join our innovative kitchen team. In your role you will report directly to the Head Chef and work predominantly in our conferencing and events space.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Head Chef with menu preparation and ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service.
- Planning, preparation and execution of high-quality food offerings for various conferences and events.
- Supervision of kitchen in the absence of the Head / Sous Chef.
- Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control for all food and beverage outlets, whilst maintaining recipe standards.
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy & ensuring all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned to WHS standards.
You will also be well-presented with a positive and professional attitude and have a passion for hotel operations and providing exceptional customer service.
