Emergency Vet Nurse
Permanent Part-time role | Monday - Friday shifts, 32 hours per week

About You

You are organized, adaptable, enthusiastic, and a strong communicator, skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in a busy general practice or experience in a referral (specialist hospital) or emergency setting
- Availability to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster
- A friendly, easygoing nature, capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- A strong work ethic, efficiency, and multitasking abilities
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality patient care under busy conditions
Desirable Attributes:
- Diploma of Veterinary Nursing (Emergency and Critical Care)
- Proficiency in anesthetic monitoring and nursing critical and ventilated patients
- Experience in an emergency or specialist hospital
- Familiarity with RX Works, Smartflow, and Idexx blood machines
