Full Time Aged Care Physiotherapist – Sydney Metro Region NSW (Multiple Suburbs)
Jasda Care (J. S. Riley Physiotherapy Pty Ltd) is a leading provider of aged care physiotherapy services across NSW. Due to increased workload and new work contract, we are currently seeking multiple full-time Physiotherapists to provide pain & mobility physio services to aged care residents throughout the New South Wales. In particular, we require 12 staff members primarily in Sydney Metro Region NSW in suburbs namely Belrose, Haberfield, Leichhardt, Lilyfield, Petersham, Woollahra, Waverley, Ashfield, Marrickville and surrounding suburbs. We require applicants to have at least 2 years of experience. Salary $75,000 - $80,000 + super depending on experience.
Note: several Part time/Casual & Locum work also available across NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pain management by exercise, massage & therapies, application of heat & cold and radiation therapies as required
• Treatments to improve joint mobility, reduce paid, blood circulation, muscle strengthening, better functionality, and general mobility and functionality
• Document the treatment and follow up process
• Conduct a thorough clinical assessment for each resident as per facility requirements
• Develop individually tailored assessment and care plans, selecting and executing appropriate physiotherapy treatment
• Consult with the appropriate staff, carers, medical practitioners and family members in the best interests of the residents
• Review all residents, at a minimum interval of three months or as per individual facility requirements
• Educate, Mentor, Supervise, train Junior colleagues
• Provide strength, prevention & Balance training
Prerequisites:
• AHPRA Registration to work as a Physiotherapist
• Minimum 2 years of recent full-time experience
• Positive can-do attitude
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate about aged care with proven experience (preferred)
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential
