The Opportunity
The End User Compute (EUC) Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless technical experiences for users by managing and maintaining hardware and software on desktop and mobile devices. Acting as the primary interface between users and IT, this role ensures that any issues or requests are addressed promptly and effectively.
With a commitment to providing exceptional service, the EUC Engineer regularly updates users on the
progress of their requests and offers realistic resolution timelines. This position is crucial in empowering
the business to function optimally, enhancing productivity and user satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
You will be accountable to:
• Be an ambassador and representative of NRI on client sites, utilise and strictly adhere to all NRI's methodologies, standards, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
• Maintain the required levels of documentation aligned with both NRI's and the client's contractual obligations, ensuring all records are thorough and current.
• Ensure all client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met consistently, reflecting NRI's commitment to service excellence, specifically across all client environments.
• Achieve all project and support deliverables assigned, ensuring that NRI's reputation for reliability and efficiency is upheld at all client sites.
• Champion supportive and professional interactions, with NRI's internal teams and with clients and third parties, fostering an environment of collaboration and respect wherever NRI's services are delivered.
• Achieve your set KPIs.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
• Operating System Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with end-user
support for Windows 10 & 11.
• Managed End Point Support: Familiarity with managed Standard Operating Environment (SOE) support tools, especially SCCM and/or Intune.
• Office Suite Expertise: Proficient in deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Office 365 applications.
• AV Equipment Handling: Ability to set up, operate, and resolve issues with audio-visual equipment.
• Telecommunication: Understanding and skills in setting up and supporting VOIP phones.
• Mobility Device Support: Expertise in mobile device management tools such as JAMF, Airwatch, and Intune.
• Collaboration Tools: Proficiency in leveraging and supporting collaboration platforms, notably Microsoft Teams.
• Virtualization: Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure tools, especially XenDesktop.
• Service Desk Tools: Practical experience with leading service desk platforms like Service Now, ensuring prompt resolution of tickets and effective user communication.
Qualifications, Certifications, Other Requirements
• Certificate IV in Information Technology or above tertiary computing degree
• ITIL v.3 or above
• CompTIA A+
• O365/Azure/Intune Foundations or above
