EACH is the Lead Agency of the Therapeutic Alliance (TA), a consortium of community based, not-for-profit services who provide services across the North Coast of NSW (the 3 main service hubs are located at Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, and Byron Bay). The alliance will deliver the Primary Mental Health Program (PMHP) through a multidisciplinary, person centred, hub-and-spoke model of care.
What you’ll be doing
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our team, where you will play a vital role in coordinating care and liaising with psychiatrists, GPs, and clinicians involved in tertiary and primary mental health, as well as dual diagnosis care.
In this role, you'll provide counselling and care coordination for complex mental health issues, deliver evidence-based treatment in individual, group, and family contexts, and manage holistic assessments and care planning. You'll collaborate with care agencies and educators, contribute to team meetings and case reviews, and develop culturally appropriate services.
Key responsibilities include consulting with care partners, maintaining collaborative relationships, and participating in quality improvement activities to enhance service outcomes.

Who we’re looking for
If you’re an experienced and motivated Mental Health Clinician who is passionate about supporting moderate to increasing acuity mental health issues, including complex and severe best treatment options, support services, co-morbidities, and co-occurring contexts, then we want to hear from you!
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Knowledge and applied understanding of relevant theories underpinning interventions and clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in practical application of such, in the areas of complex and severe mental health
- Skilled in formulating mental health treatment plans, and a working understanding of the impact of trauma upon mental health.
- Knowledge and ability to implement mental-health therapeutic approaches (e.g., DBT, ACT, recovery-based approaches).
- Assessment – mental state examination, crisis, and risk assessment including after-care planning.
