Austate Services is currently searching for qualified and experience Diesel Mechanics to join our growing team in Minto, NSW.
Duties and responsibilities
* You will service/maintenance of all truck makes and trailers
* Responsible for repairing, modifying and maintaining such vehicles including company fleet also.
* At times you may be required to supervise an apprentice.
Qualifications and requirements
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and highly motivated and have the following skills and experience:
* Trade qualifications as a diesel mechanic
* Diesel mechanic experience – seasoned preferred
* MC/HR licence holder preferable
* Strong ability to document and record the service and maintenance carried out
* Be capable of working without supervision
* Be reliable, honest and work as part of a team
* Willing to learn and have a go
* Have great work ethics and attention to detail
Salary
* $70,000 - $75,000 per year
Our workshop is based in Minto. It is a 15 minute walk from the nearest rail station in Leumeah. If you are driving we are easily accessible via the Hume Highway off the Campbelltown exit which is then an approximate 5 minute drive to our site. Plenty of amenities exist in and around the area.
Friendly staff and company uniform provided. Permanent position with immediate start for the right candidate.
