Our client is current seeking Maintenance Fitters for their large manufacturing facility based in Bendigo. As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of systems and equipment to maintain optimal production efficiency and safety standards.
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off, 12-hour shifts
Rotation: First month on morning shift (5am to 5pm), second month on night shift (5pm to 5am)
Tasks and responsibilities:
Plan, schedule and organize own work within the requirements of the work plan, and coordinate with other parties as required.
Complete tasks assigned on the basis of priority Ensure assigned trade work is completed safely and in accordance with quality requirements, company policy and all statutory requirements
Initiate and complete Work Orders and ensure timely sign off / close off for completed work along with relevant feedback information and other reports as required
Your Qualifications:
Relevant trade qualifications as a Qualified Fitter & Turner, Certificate III Engineering / Mechanical trade
Problem solving techniques/ ability and mechanical aptitude
Utilization of a CMMS and Microsoft suite (advantageous, but not essential)
Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures
Current Driver's license
EWP License and Forklift Licence
