About the role
At Rombola Family Farms, we offer exciting career opportunities in a supportive and innovative work environment. The positions in the packhouse consist of all-round stock controlling, picking, packing and quality assurance of produce. Activities include, but are not limited to:
• Receiving incoming goods, checking for damage and for discrepancies between goods and packing orders.
• Unloading vehicles, opening packages, and removing contents.
• Labelling goods with details of storage location.
• Packing and weighing goods and sealing boxes.
• Assisting with regular stocktakes.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
• Evidence of work rights
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
• Team player who can work effectively with people from different backgrounds.
• Awareness and ability to adhere to rules and procedures.
• Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good level of physical fitness, including ability to kneel, grasp, bend/twist, lift light to moderate loads (up to 10-15kg) and be able to work in temperature extremes and dust
Number of positions available: 30
Commencement: December 2024. This role will be permanent and ongoing.
Renumeration: Starting $23.46/hr (Horticulture Award 2020, Level 1) with opportunities for advancement
