About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Technician with end-to-end expertise to produce quality experiences for a diverse range of live events. As a senior member of the team, you will also be given opportunity to lead teams at events and take an active part in the development of crew.
Main Tasks and Duties include:
• Rigging, set up, operation & onsite programming of audio-visual equipment both on and off stage.
• Participate and assist in the service & repair of audio-visual equipment.
• Set up and operation of a variety of audio-visual consoles and systems.
• Managing on-stage sound, lighting, and vison to delivery stunning audio-visual event requirements as per client specifications.
• Providing technical audio-visual support, including serving as Technical Lead where required.
• Provide support in exhibition and venue installs and ongoing exhibition and venue maintenance.
• Conducting appropriate onsite checks of audio-visual equipment.
• Oversee the maintenance and appropriate storing of audio-visual equipment at the warehouse and event venues.
• Identify, submit, and monitor audio visual equipment repair orders.
• Play an active part in the selection, pre-event programming, and resetting of audio-visual equipment for events.
• Providing motivation and support to junior staff, as an onsite subject matter expert in the Audio-Visual discipline.
• Supporting teams with the set up and pack down of events.
• Communicating effectively at all stages of production with our valued clients, ensuring that show delivery is of the highest standard.

Qualifications / Experience
• As this is a Senior opportunity, significant end-to-end experience as an AV Technician within the live event industry is required.
• A proven track record working collaboratively as a senior member of a team.
• Experience effectively liaising with a range of clients on diverse requirements in a pressurised, time critical and live setting.
• A safety-first approach and understanding of WHS practices.
• Experience effectively liaising with a range of clients and artists on diverse requirements in a pressurised, time critical and live setting.
• Certificate 4 or Diploma in the live production industry or relevant industry experience of equal value.
