A new opportunity has arisen within our business LKEA Pty Ltd we are looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager to support the QLD, NSW & Vic Area Sales Managers. This role requires you to actively maintain our existing customer base and develop new relationships through the identification of client’s needs in the specific industry sectors and concentrating on promoting and selling our full range of Forestry & recycling products.
To be considered for this role you must have:
• Forestry equipment (or a related industry) experience
• Must have a proven background in sales and the ability to manage sales budgets and forecasting.
• Proven sales history, planning and organizational skills
• Strong customer service
• Excellent people and communication skills
• Current Queensland drivers Licence or the ability to obtain
Duties included but not limited to:
• Communication to the Factories in regards to machines, general information and any assistance required. Stock reports, sales reports etc to be communicated to the factories as required.
• Must be willing to travel within the region to develop further business relations, attend sales conferences, Dealer conferences, Shows, meetings and customer visits etc as required (Nationally and Internationally)
• Prepare detailed monthly (as a minimum) reports of the functioning of all company departments, and present the reports to the CEO & COO.
• Guide and assist with the training of newly hired staff as required.
• Yearly budget forecasts, quarterly sales forecasts, monthly sales forecasts and any sales information that has an impact on the business in conjunction with the COO & CEO as required.
• Promote a Health and Safety culture within the business.
• Have involvement in conjunction with the CEO in regards to machine stocking, hire fleet stocking and forecasted machine orders.
• Daily communication with the QLD,VIC & NSW branch Managers in regards to machine movements and priorities etc.
• Outline any strategic sales plan, marketing drives or new “go to market” ideas that could be advantageous to the company.
• Be responsible for machine pricing and margin control etc including exchange rate movements. This to be documented utilised on our ERP system
A vehicle, mobile phone and laptop supplied, remuneration will be competitive and commensurate with experience
