About the role & client
An exciting role with a nationally-recognised manufacturing organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This Reporting & Tax Manager position will help drive commercial excellence across the group through the analysis of key data to help improve business performance. Initially this will be a 3 to 6 month role, however there is the opportunity for extension and/or permanency.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager of Finance, you will be responsible for tax management, statutory reporting and treasury functions. More specifically, your role will include:
Preparation of consolidated company income tax return
Preparation and lodgement of BAS and FBT returns
Identify tax issues and advise the business in relation to all tax matters
Maintaining Prolease software for all leases and preparation of IFRS16 leas accounting entries and completion of monthly schedules
