We are looking for a Manager, Identity and Privileged Access Engineering, to spearhead the strategic development, deployment, and governance of comprehensive Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) frameworks.

 What is this role about?

As the Manager, Identity and Privileged Access Engineering, you will be accountable for safeguarding sensitive systems and data within a high-stakes payment and data service environment by ensuring robust access controls and mitigating risks associated with privileged accounts. You will lead a dedicated team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to, ensure regulatory compliance, enhanced security posture, drive operational efficiency, and strategically align IAM and PAM initiatives with Cuscal goals to support business objectives and maintain a resilient security architecture.

  • Lead and manage a team of IAM and PAM engineers, providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a high-performing culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Develop and implement IAM and PAM strategies and roadmaps that align with Cuscal security objectives and business goals, ensuring the deployment of secure, scalable, and effective systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units, to ensure IAM and PAM solutions meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and management of IAM and PAM systems and processes, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and effective.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance the security and efficiency of IAM and PAM operations.
  • Ensure the integration of IAM and PAM solutions with other security technologies and infrastructure components.
  • Ensure IAM and PAM practices comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies, including PCI-DSS, APRA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Monitor and audit IAM and PAM systems to detect unauthorized access and potential security breaches, and act as a technical leader in resolving incidents, collaborating with incident response teams for thorough investigation and remediation.
  • Develop and enforce robust policies and procedures for privileged access management, including least privilege, just-in-time access, session monitoring, and user lifecycle management, optimizing operations through automation and integration with existing security workflows.
  • Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports to senior management on IAM and PAM activities, risks, and improvements, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational security objectives.
