What will a day in this role look like:
- Work as part of a team producing substation design drawings using AutoCAD or Revit in accordance with client standards
- Electrical design models and drawings including substation layouts and sections for equipment and associated utilities, set outs, single line diagrams, secondary schematics.
- Complete drafting reviews on design drawings prepared by others in the team
- Mentor/support juniors in the drafting team and wider Energy team.
- Working co-operatively with team members whilst liaising with engineers and drafters (both locally and internationally) to ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
- Maintain, developing, and retaining the highest standard of technical design skills.
