Latitude Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Acute and Urgent Care department at Rural Northwest Health. The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of clinical care, and performance monitoring of the acute and urgent care team members.
This is a Full-time position based at the Warracknabeal campus.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Relevant post-graduate training or educate in aged care, acute medical or emergency nursing
Relevant post-graduate education in leadership and management, or plans to undertake
Demonstrated competence in leading and managing a team to deliver services that ensures safe, consumer-centered care
Knowledge of key guidelines and frameworks relevant to the role including, but not limited to, Safe Patient Care Act, Code Grey requirements, National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement
