The role involves loading and unloading containers and pallets for the line haul area. A forklift license and a good understanding of warehousing and job orders are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate forklift for loading and unloading containers and pallets (95% of the time)
Handle manual tasks such as unstrapping and prepping pallets
Ensure accurate and efficient movement of goods within the yard
Follow job orders and warehouse procedures
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Adhere to all safety protocols, including completing a breathalyser test before each shift
