Position: Senior Revenue Officer
Key Relationships: Revenue Officers, Ratepayers, Debt Collection Agencies, Government Agencies
Role Overview:
This role involves overseeing the day-to-day functions related to Special Rates & Charges, Waste Management, Pension Concessions, and Supplementary Rates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery: Authorize Land Information Certificates. Supervise the Special Rate & Charge processes, including new scheme creation, account processing, and overdue payment collections. Oversee Direct Debit payment processes and maintain a database of payment methods. Manage Pension Concession processes and Waste Management revenue operations.
Systems and Processes: Handle Supplementary Rate processes and quarterly pension concession claims. Conduct annual pension concession verification and ensure accurate payment arrangements.
People Management: Guide Revenue Officers on complex issues and correspondence. Assist with annual reporting, software testing, and staff training. Act as Senior Revenue Officer in their absence and perform additional duties as required.
