Position: - ICT Business Analyst (Full Time)

Salary: - $95,000 plus 11.5% superannuation
Company Details: Our client Broadsafe Group of Companies Pty Ltd. is a leading provider of Security services catering to the key areas of Cleaning services and Traffic control management. The business is well known for providing onsite and offsite security and monitoring at major celebrity event management.
Currently, our client is seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join their team. The overall objectives of a business analyst are to review and analyse current and proposed business operations, review financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs) and other key metrics, then consider options for improvement. Business analysts assess the overall effectiveness of a business and its departments to devise solutions to problems.
Minimum Requirements:
• Masters in technology, Certification in Security will be highly considered
• At least 2 years of experience in the similar role. Security experience will be a great benefit.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Identify and communicate with users to formulate and produce comprehensive requirements specifications for creating system and software solutions.
• Identify and engage with key stakeholders to gather input, clarify needs, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Gather, review, and analyse business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports, and other critical metrics, utilizing data analytics tools to drive informed decision-making.
• Act as a liaison between various business departments and groups to facilitate communication and collaboration.
• Assess and recommend options for process improvements, including business process modelling, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to various projects, processes, and operations to ensure clarity and continuity.
• Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to support project execution and align IT solutions with business needs. You will need to possess the following skills and personal attributes:
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
• Ability to use Python, R and SQL will be preferred
• Manage security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention
• Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
• Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data
• Excellent communication skills
• Design, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and data.
