AECOM is expanding its dynamic Civil Infrastructure business in Sydney and are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team.
Working with a high performing team of engineers, scientists, designers and drafters with a passion for digital delivery, you will be supporting the team in winning, managing and delivering projects across a diverse range of transport and civil infrastructure projects.
This role is tailor-made for an individual who is passionate about developing into a future leader, who loves working with people and has the passion to mentor and lead teams aligned with AECOM’s vision to build a better world.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with delivering Civil Infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of various projects including; light vehicle / heavy vehicle roads, water mains, mine-site water management, water modelling, drainage, levees, dams, pumping/piping infrastructure, structural integrity and construction quality assurance.
- Contribute to the winning of projects across the region assisting with bids and tenders.
- Use your technical experience and communication skills to mentor and guide junior engineers and continue your development as a future leader within the business.
About You:
As a Civil Engineer, you will be engaged, excited by project delivery and the successful integration of varied specialist and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
What are we looking for from you?
- Consulting experience on Civil Transport Infrastructure projects within a design (including design & construction) environment.
- Design experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options to arrive at a preferred solution. Demonstrated experience working to TfNSW standards.
- Working knowledge of related disciplines including civil, rail, drainage and geotechnical engineering.
- Project management experience and a commitment to exceptional client service.
- The confidence to utilise your reputation in bringing business to AECOM through networking and delivering high quality work.
