Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead the newsroom rhythm, ensuring timely and impactful content creation.
- Develop and drive the organic content strategy across both brands, with a key focus on SEO and organic traffic growth.
- Serve as an ambassador for the company's CVP and content framework, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Lead an onshore and offshore team, partner with agency and internal and leverage AI to scale content creation.
Content Creation and SEO:
- Write content that drives SEO, utilising best practices to enhance visibility and search engine rankings.
- Lead a small team of content writers in developing various types of content, including email journeys, articles (blogs, financial guides, thought leadership), and industry insights.
- Lead adoption of, and leverage, AI to scale content creation, ensuring capacity available to tweak / amend content to ensure it has been reviewed.
- Ensure that all site content is accurate, consistent, and on-brand, maintaining a distinctive tone of voice for both Lendi and Aussie brands.
SEO Tools and Best Practices:
- Drive the SEO and organic strategy, collaborating cross-functionally to drive organic uplift.
- Utilise SEO tools and best practices to identify content gaps, opportunities, and drive an increase in conversion from organic traffic.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes to ensure the company's content strategy remains effective and competitive.
- Lead SEO manager, supporting proactive contribution to initiatives / direction.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in our content strategy with SEO manager based on search data / traffic.
Content Management and Optimization:
- Build and maintain the content calendar across key channels to meet campaign deadlines and email journey objectives.
- Own the development of a content governance system, maintaining and optimizing older web pages for continued relevance and performance.
- Manage the day-to-day content operations, including page-level creation, formatting, editing, testing, and optimisation on the company's CMS.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Design, Engineering, and Distribution to develop page templates and components that are on-brand and optimised for SEO.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the content strategy aligns with broader marketing and business objectives.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Track and report on key performance metrics related to organic traffic, content engagement, and SEO performance.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously refine and improve the content strategy, ensuring it meets business objectives and drives growth.
