VFS Distribution Pty Ltd (t/a VF Siciliano & Sons) is a wholesale agriculture company based in Woorinen VIC 3589, run by the second generation of the Siciliano family. VF Siciliano & Sons has a passionate workforce of over 150 people who pick and pack fruit to ensure it is delivered into the market in the best condition. VF Siciliano & Sons is seeking a full-time qualified Forklift Driver.
The salary offered is $73,150 per annum plus superannuation.
Duties and responsibilities:
The Forklift Driver will be responsible for the following duties including:
• Operating forklift to transport produce to designated areas on the farm and warehouses.
• Operating controls to align forklifts and raise and lower forks to load and unload goods.
• Ensuring goods are stored in correct areas so that they can be easily located.
• Monitoring equipment operation visually through gauges and instruments.
• Inspecting and controlling equipment to identify wear and damage.
• Performing minor repairs and adjustments to forklifts.
• Operating equipment with a high level of proficiency and competency.
• Completing all required documents including quality reports and safety inspection checklists.
The Forklift Driver should have the following qualifications/experience:
• At least a relevant AQF Certificate II or equivalent; AND at least 1.5 year (20 hours or more per week) relevant post qualification experience; OR
• At least AQF Certificate III or equivalent; AND at least 1 year (20 hours or more per week) relevant post qualification; OR
• At least 2 years (38 hours or more per week) relevant work experience
