Position: Mechanical Engineering Technician

Topweld General Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team in carrying out various mechanical tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks:
• Conducts tests of mechanical systems, machines, or parts to evaluate performance and identify issues
• Assists mechanical engineers and engineering technologists in the design and development of mechanical systems
• Collects and analyses data from tests and experiments of machines, components, and materials
• Assists in quality control checks and inspections of mechanical installations, components, and systems
• Installs parts or machinery to ensure they meet performance targets and work as intended
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Follow all company rules and policies
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
Essential skills:
• Good communication skills;
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and principles;
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues;
• Skill in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from tests and experiments;
• Ability to adhere to quality standards and perform inspections;
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members; and Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work safely in a mechanical environment.
Qualifications and Experience required:
• Minimum Diploma level qualification, or at least three years of proven relevant industry experience
