Our client is a multi-discipline consultancy that has been in operations for over 30 years, specialising in structural and civil works design for building structures, industrial, commercial and residential developments and plant & production projects.
The role
We are seeking someone with experience in the design of storm water drainage and detention systems including basement drainage (pump systems), pavements, footpaths and car parks.
The day-to-day tasks would involve:
Preparation of storm water drainage designs for residential, industrial and commercial projects including detention system, basement drainage
Prepared detail drawings for paving and drainage, carpark and access path using AutoCAD
Design of pavement and carparks
Conducting site inspections and liaising with council authorities for design and permit approval
Prepare technical reports and specifications
Liaising with builders and fellow engineers to provide workable solutions
