Our client is seeking a detailed and passionate individual to join their growing finance team as an Assistant Accountant immediately on a temporary to permanent basis. This position will primarily focus on supporting the accounts payable and receivable processes. If you are an organised and have an analytical approach and excellent communication skills this could be the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Finance Manager;
Assist in the management of the accounts payable and receivable processes.
Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Assist with journaling, month-end, and year-end processes
Prepare and distribute invoices to customers, monitor collections, and handle inquiries regarding payments.
Reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable
liaise with internal stakeholders
Maintain vendor and customer files,
