Position Title: Instrument and Control Technician

Salary: $73,150.00 plus 11.5 % Superannuation

Hi-Reach Rentals Australia are looking for an experienced and qualified Instrument and Control Technician for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Murarrie, Brisbane, QLD, 4172 from Monday to Friday.

The Instrument and Control Technician will complete all tasks as directed by the Workshop Manager, and/or Managing Director to ensure all equipment is kept at a high standard for all types of hire equipment within the company fleet and customer equipment.

The Instrument and Control Technician will be responsible for the following duties:

? Diagnose faults by inspecting and testing Elevating Work Platforms’ electronic instruments and control systems as per manufacturers’ specifications.

? Responsible for repairs or replacement of electrical components and malfunctioning mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic parts of all our hired equipment as required.

? Liaison with on-site staff and customers regarding correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions of our hired equipment.

? Installing and maintaining all our hired equipment’s instruments and control systems.

? Utilising consistent instrument and control systems testing procedures to ensure all hired equipment operate at an optimal level of performance.

For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications and work experience:

• A Certificate III or a Certificate IV in Instrumentation and Control with at least 2 years of full-time experience working in an Instrument and Control Technician role. This formal qualification can be substituted by at least 3 years of work experience in an Instrument and Control Technician role.

Attributes such as the ability to performance under pressure working as an Instrument and Control Technician will be highly regarded.
