The Polyglot Group is seeking a Civil Engineer for our client, for their entity in Melbourne.
The Civil Engineer will provide technical development of civil engineering projects in the domain of civil structures and underground works. He will lead the project teams as a discipline leader or Project Manager supported by the Country Manager and Deputy Country Manager.
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overviewing and validating all the geotechnical and structural development of civil engineering projects with a focus on underground infrastructure projects.
Duties:
Project setup to the technical development of projects in a collaborative BIM-based environment interfering with the BIM Coordinator
The project will range from feasibility studies on the owner side to execution design and consulting tasks for major EPC contractors
Technical development of civil engineering projects in the domain of civil structures and underground structures
Coordination with E&M designs and other disciplines
Periodic site visits for ongoing projects
Requirements:
- Degree in relevant to Civil Engineering with a focus on geotechnics and/or structures
- Proficient in English and in Italian (min. C1)
Work Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of professional work experience
- Experience in developing projects in Australia
- Experience in underground works
- Experience in delivering projects to BIM standards
- Advanced knowledge and experience in using AutoCAD
- International experience with cultural exposures desired.
