Join our rapidly growing team at GYG as an Asset Manager in Victoria.
As the Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing our existing restaurant network across Victoria. You will work closely with the Head of Asset Management to deliver our real estate strategy, exercise options, negotiate lease renewals, and manage all property related matters.
To be successful in this role, you will have a deep understanding of the real estate industry and be able to negotiate with landlords to achieve the best possible outcomes for GYG.
What you can expect in the role:
- Execute the real estate strategy in your portfolio
- Qualify sites to ensure our existing real estate is efficient
- Review restaurant data to understand viability of each site
- Develop comprehensive real estate packs
- Negotiate leases that deliver to our agreed targets
- Facilitate the refurbishment process and support management of any on-going lease issues for existing sites
- Advise franchisees and corporate GYG on leasing arrangements
You’ll enjoy this role if you have:
- Experience in a similar role within real estate
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive outcomes
- Solid relationship building skills, with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience working with large and small landlords and the ability to tailor to drive outcomes in both environments
