The role of Warehouse Operator is an important role in ensuring our warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency so that we can provide first class logistic support to our customers. The role will also be required to complete basic cleaning duties to keep the warehouse tidy. The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Specific Functions
- Work well autonomously and within a team to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency targets set by the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Support and maintain supply chain process.
- Maintain inventory and supplies by receiving, storing and delivering items within KPI targets, creating quality records
- Conduct all manner of Logisitc transactions in the Costpoint ERP
- Working on planned activities for cycle counting and stocktakes in accordance with the Leidos Stocktaking plan
- Supporting acitivites led by the Warehouse Coordinator and the Warehouse Supervisor
- Working with production on returned packages, once confirmed, ensure inventory is managed back into the warehouse
- Processing equipment requests from Leidos sites, to support Leidos and/or CASG requirements
- Assisting with consolidating inventory that is like for like in the warehouse, and locating more frequently selected inventory to improve pick run efficiency
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing site environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures; complying with applicable Work Health Safety (WHS) Act standards.
