About the Company:
Rivkin Finance is expanding it’s consulting arm and seeking a highly skilled Finance manager to support the setup of this division. Our consulting arm specializes in fractional and ongoing finance and accounting services for small to medium sized SaaS businesses in Australia and the United States. We are committed to providing top-tier consulting services and innovative solutions to our clients. Rivkin is focused on delivering exceptional results and value across finance, operations, and client partnership.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess extensive corporate finance expertise, leadership experience, and a solid background in consulting. The candidate must have proven experience working in finance and consulting in the United States, especially the eastern region as are target clients are in and around New York City. You must also be willing to travel as needed to the United States, potentially once per quarter or more.
Experience Required: 7-10 years progressive corporate finance experience including at least 4 years in leadership roles as well financial consulting and business development experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Finance Leadership:
- Lead and manage the consulting division, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic goals.
- Develop and implement business strategies to attract and expand the client base in the eastern United States.
- Client Engagement and Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on those based in and around Sydney and the Northeastern US.
- Oversee our team of experts providing financial advice and consultancy services to clients, tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the US market, particularly targeting corporate finance clients in New York City.
- Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies to grow the consulting arm's presence and influence.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the consulting division, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the division.
- Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of finance and consulting professionals.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Corporate Finance Expertise:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in corporate finance, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- General Management Leadership:
- Extensive experience in general management and leadership roles, demonstrating the ability to lead and grow a business unit.
- Consulting Experience:
- Proven consulting experience, with the ability to provide strategic and operational financial advice to clients.
- US Working Rights and Experience:
- Must have valid US working rights as this role will require broadening our business in the New York City area.
- Significant experience working in finance and consulting businesses in the Northeastern United States
