This is a truly exciting opportunity for a results-focused Business Development Manager to join our high performing Sales Team-The perfect platform to springboard your sales success!

This role welcomes a self-starter with an entrepreneurial nature who has a proven track record of winning new clients and growing a territory whilst providing exceptional levels of customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and appointment setting with decision makers of strategically aligned organisations and target customers within your State, by way of cold calling and using online prospecting tools such as LinkedIn
  • Facilitating the initial introductory and qualification meetings with prospective customers
  • Building relationships with customers, growing the pipeline, and being in front of RFP releases
  • Working collaboratively with Management, Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, and Bid Team to close deals 
  • Assisting with the preparation and presentation of solutions and proposals to the customer 
  • Working collaboratively with Marketing to support their campaigns and events
  • Responding to inbound leads
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data and notes in the CRM.
  • Working with Commercial Account Managers in the handover and transition of the relationship after contract signing
  • Consistently achieve Quarterly recurring revenue Sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with customers
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
  • Experienced salesperson who is comfortable prospecting and hunting for new customers, and can articulate our value propositions around IT services, cloud, and telecommunications offerings.
  • Proven experience in the IT industry 
  • Strong business skills in terms of running meetings with clients, business writing and verbal communications
