Title: Motor Mechanic (full time)

Salary: $ 75088 + super of 11.5%
Location: Unit 1/8-10 Tullamarine Park Road, Tullamarine, Victoria, 3043
Reporting to:
This role reports directly to the Director/Manager.
Requirement:
We require a qualified Motor Mechanic with passion for cars and has an experience of over 2 years in a similar environment, with a minimum of a Diploma qualification. We are offering a salary of $75088 for this full-time, permanent position.
Main Duties:
• Dismantling engine assemblies, steering mechanisms, transmission system and other associated components for examination
• Detecting and diagnosing electrical/mechanical faults in engines and its components.
• Repairing and replacing any worn out/defective parts as and when needed.
• Referring to service manuals and adhering to the guidelines and procedures described therein.
• Testing and fine-tuning serviced parts, once they have been repaired.
• Respond to vehicle breakdown service calls, to enable on-site servicing, if required.
• Diagnosing and testing of all automatic components with the use of electronic instruments and computers.
• Inspection of vehicles to prove road-worthiness, conduct diagnostic checks to ensure no faults are present.
• Performing scheduled maintenance services such as engine performance tunings, oil checks, changes and refills, lubrication works etc, to ensure smooth running of the vehicle
• Ensure compliance with all pollution regulations that are applicable.
KPI’s:
• Assist in client retention by delivering excellent services.
• Provide services as per the quality standards and exactly as per client requirements.
Qualifications, Education, Experience and Ability requirements:
Qualifications/Education
Relevant Diploma or higher.
Experience/ Knowledge
At least 2 years of experience in a similar environment
Abilities/Attributes
• Must have proven relevant experience (2+ years)
• Will have relevant qualification
• Be passionate about cars and take pride in their work.
• Be a good team player.
• Is a self-starter and highly motivated to deliver best quality services.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
