We are looking for a motivated and experienced Veterinary Nurse to support our beef cattle veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced reproductive techniques, as well as proficiency in record-keeping software and data analysis. This role involves working closely with our veterinarian to ensure the highest standard of care for our clients' cattle, with a focus on reproductive health and herd management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist veterinarians with advanced reproductive procedures including AI (Artificial Insemination), embryo transfer, and reproductive health assessments.
• Manage and maintain detailed and accurate records of veterinary procedures, treatments, and herd data using specialized software.
• Analyse data to support decision-making and optimize reproductive and herd management strategies.
• Provide nursing care for cattle, including monitoring health, administering medications, and supporting recovery.
• Educate clients on best practices for cattle management and reproductive health.
• Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
Qualifications:
• Certification as a Veterinary Nurse or equivalent qualification. We encourage applications from individuals with significant (>2 years) practical experience in the field, even if formal certification is not held.
• Proficiency with veterinary record-keeping software and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to inform veterinary care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to client education and service.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Our practice is located 320kms north of Perth, right between the coastal towns of Dongara and Geraldton. Both towns have excellent facilities for employment, education, entertainment, and sporting opportunities for families and individuals.
A generous remuneration package commensurate with experience will be provided to the successful applicant ranging between $80,000-$95,000.
