IT Business Analyst – Breakwater, VIC
Kogan People Solutions are working with a rapidly growing solutions provider for organisations that utilise complex and heavily regulated biologic supply chains located in Breakwater, Victoria.
These solutions provide their customers with the ability to control their cold chain and maximize patient safety.
Our client is committed to making a difference for their customers, not by pulling hardware off the shelf but instead by analysing existing client processes and configuring the software to match these processes.
The software and hardware solution are designed to integrate perfectly with the specific environment thus providing quick return-on investment, outstanding performance and even better results.
To that end, our client is now seeking a skilled and highly qualified IT Business Analyst with at least two to three years of relevant professional experience. A top salary, negotiable in the range $70k to $80k plus superannuation per annum, is on offer and the role is full time and ongoing
Location: Breakwater, VIC
Responsibilities will include:
• Engage with client and project teams to shape and scope upcoming projects.
• Organise and facilitate workshops to analyse key business objectives and processes.
• Gather requirements, size them and develop detailed process analysis, and solution specification documents.
• Breakdown business requirements into features, epics and user stories.
• Collaborate with product, UX Design, development and QA teams to gather, analyse, define and verify feature requirements and user stories.
• Evaluate potential solution options and recommend the most optimal system design.
• Lead various agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand ups, iterations reviews, and retrospectives.
• Drive the entire user test process, analyse issues to resolve and retest, track progress of test against acceptance criteria and support all queries and issues raised by testers.
To be considered for this role you should be able to positively address the following attributes:
• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Business Analysis or related experience (or agreed substitute).
• Post qualification experience of at least 2-3 years (preferably more) in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interact with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts.
• Excellent workshop/training facilitation skills.
• Experience in supporting multiple projects in an agile environment – Scrum.
• Demonstrated experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of UML and developing Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams.
• Solid working knowledge of Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira)
• Experience in wireframing and mock-ups using Balsamiq, Creately, Lucidchart.
• Experience with mobile, web, and cloud platforms.
• Offer unrestricted full time Australian working rights.
